Here's the solution that may possibly help fix and repair a damaged or malfunction qwerty keys on Nokia N97. This solution works if the N97 qwerty keypad membrane is already been replaced but some of the keypad keys still not responding.
The solution below shows the line paths of the Qwerty keypad connection of Nokia n97 PCB Board. This connection pattern shows the tracing guides including the qwerty keypad filter IC through to the Keypad pin connector.
There are two keypad filter chips used on Nokia N97 keypad circuits. You may check and replaced these EMI-ESD filter IC after ensuring that the QWERTY keypad membrane flex seems working fine and or already tried to replace a new replacement spare. Check and ensure also that keypad Pin connector are of free from dust and oxidation build up.
