This app is to help with the Factory Reset issue when booting to true
Clockworkmod Recovery. You can backup data before booting to CWM and
restore it once rebooted from this app. This app will copy itself to
system/app so it will remain installed after a factory reset, so it will
require removing manually (if so desired) via adb shell, terminal
emulator, or a root file explorer.

Sorry for 2 different app, path to external_sd differs between stock & cm10 and to properly code it to download with the android class was more involved than I cared to invest time into for a free app.
